What You Will Do
As a Senior Quality Specialist, you will act as a quality champion, measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of claim processing and customer service workflows. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Quality Audits: Performing regular reviews and targeted quality audits across multiple products and platforms to ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards.
- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborating with other departments to resolve process issues, promote operational change, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Data Reporting: Managing routine and non-routine business tasks, reporting audit results, and making strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Workflow Optimization: Serving as the subject matter expert on quality policies, system requirements, and daily operations to drive optimal business results.
What You Need to Succeed
CVS Health is looking for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who can operate with limited supervision. To qualify, you must possess:
- Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in health insurance, healthcare quality review, and working with medical terminology and diagnosis codes.
- Technical Skills: Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including V-lookups, pivot tables, and advanced formulas).
- Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required (a college degree is preferred).
- Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent decision-making skills, and the capacity to execute complex processes accurately.
- Bonus Qualifications: Prior claims processing or DG (Data Governance) experience will help you stand out.
